What we’d all give to know our Arsenal heroes just that little bit better. Old or young, male or female, we all seem to go crazy with delirium should we catch a sneak peak of our Arsenal stars or we find ourselves eating a certain place because Theo Walcott went there and ordered chicken nuggets and chips.
The next day-to-day thing to be influenced by our footballing icons will no doubt be our iPods following Europcar, the Official Car and Van Rental Partner of Arsenal, releasing a few of the tracks that inspire some of the current squad as they look to get pumped en route to a game.
David Ospina, the smooth South American chap that he is, opts for J Bavlin’s ‘Tranquila’ as he gets in the zone for a clean sheet:
Now, a man clearly after my own heart is Kieran Gibbs following his song choice of Royal Blood ‘Figure It Out’:
Next up on the playlist is Laurent Koscielny and I’d pay to hear the Frenchman give us all a rendition of his choice:
Nacho Monreal’s song of choice is a slow burner, I imagine he envisages himself walking down the tunnel and, as the stadium opens up in front of him, the song kicks in:
I’ll give Calum Chambers a tenner if he can recite this:
Our very own Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain clearly likes to recreate those cheeky lads holidays to Malia with Philip George’s ‘Wish You Were Mine’:
As you’d expect from such a fine looking specimen, a strong choice from Aaron Ramsey:
Sadly I don’t speak Spanish, however, I imagine the lyrics translate to something along the lines of being a little genius, is that right, Santi?
A cracking song but I was very surprised to read that this was Olivier Giroud’s selection. Good on ya, Oli G:
What do we all make of Theo Walcott’s song choice, then?
I’d like to think that Arsene Wenger signed Danny Welbeck purely on his superb taste in music:
What do we make of those choices? What do you reckon the other Gunners listen to? Wojciech Szczesny strikes me as a Rammstein kind of guy!
