The ego that is Nicklas Bendtner joined Nottingham Forest of the Championship on Wednesday while yesterday, Crystal Palace concluded a deal for the midfield battleaxe that is Mathieu Flamini.

While Flamini won’t go down as one of the most talented players Arsenal have ever had, he’ll certainly go down as one of the most hardworking and loyal.

Yes, he tried to go on and better his career at AC Milan in between his two spells at Arsenal but the combative Frenchman put in blood, sweat and tears during his spell in a Gunners shirt.
