There was a fantastic treat for Arsenal supporters on Saturday as hardened Gooners got to reel back the years for an afternoon as they saw Arsenal Legends defeat AC Milan Legends 4-2 at Emirates Stadium.
A tremendous event all round, earning cash for the ever-successful Arsenal Foundation in the process, Gooners got to see Arsene Wenger manage the likes of David Seaman, Robert Pires and Freddie Ljungberg for an afternoon in the North London sunshine.
With these stars having played for Arsenal in the golden era, there was a true sense of escapism from the modern-day Premier League which has become so much harder to win with Chelsea and Manchester City investing their millions in the more recent era.
Back in Arsenal’s glory days, it was only really Manchester United who the Gunners often needed to overcome to win the Premier League title but that is all change nowadays of course.
But with the Arsenal Legends fixture having come and gone, Arsenal Mania are today assessing whether these FIVE guys are the most underrated Gunners legends.
