As every football club understands, success is only possible when you have a great twelfth man. The players may do the leg work, the manager may pick the team, but the fans provide that crucial winning mentality. That’s why Europcar, the Official Car and Van Rental Partner of Arsenal Football Club, is on the hunt to find Arsenal’s ‘Fan of the Season’. The competition, which launched on Wednesday 22nd April 2015, will officially crown the club’s most dedicated and passionate fan of the year, granting them immortal status amongst their peers.

What’s more, the winner won’t just receive the overwhelming adulation of their fellow fans. They will also receive a signed Arsenal FC shirt, tickets to the first home game of the 2015/16 season and will even be taken to and from the ground, chauffeur-style, courtesy of Europcar.

“This unique competition gives the opportunity to reward one of Arsenal FC’s most unsung heroes of the season”, explained Ken McCall, Managing Director, Europcar UK Group. “For those who put the effort in week-in-week-out, through good times and bad, this is a chance to be recognised for their loyalty, commitment and passion.”

So whether they’ve travelled the length and breadth of the country to witness every minute of Arsenal’s campaign, or named their first-born in honour of an Arsenal legend, fans can simply head to the site for a chance to win. The winner will be announced on 27th May 2015.

“We’re already looking forward to reading the incredible stories of the people that make Arsenal FC one of the greatest clubs in the world,” concluded Ken McCall. “Many fans go to incredible lengths to show their commitment to the club and we can’t wait to officially announce Arsenal FC’s greatest supporter: The 2014/15 ‘Fan of the Season!”.

I am on a self-exiled in the UK because life seems unsafe in the hands of Chelsea fans especially due to my unbearable obsession for Arsenal..It’s worth every bit of persecution meted out.
