RandomHero84: “Walking back now. Furious. “An audience with Kavanagh”.
Awful officiating. Every single season. Don’t know what the TV picked up but they spent the whole game hanging off shirts in the counter. Finished the tame with us having yellows everywhere. One for them, largely inconsequential.
Pathetic refereeing that as far as I’m concerned costs us a median of 5 points per season.”
Yousif Arsenal: “I think us having to hold on for a 1-0 lead for 45 minutes is a difficult task most of the time with Arsenal the team just lose their shape and mentally get tired we didn’t defend Brighton’s goal well I hoped Mikel did make Calafiori sub 5 minutes earlier could’ve easily avoided being too open in the middle.”
Gooner416: “I have refereed a fairly decent level (National Collegiate level) in Canada which requires badges. The ball was hit at Rice and was never set/deemed in play to start a free kick. There are so many other incidents just to name a few:
- Hinshelwood right before HT (he blows HT to not book him for accumulating fouls).
- Veltman on Raya on a corner in the first half (Ref should’ve got control and warned him. Ben White had to run over and shove him aside).
- Joao Pedro kicks the ball 30 yards away on an Arsenal throw-in (immediate yellow).
- Multiple fouls accumulated on Saka and Havertz that went disregarded.
- Van Hecke in the first half
I repeat this quality of refereeing should never exist at a Professional level. He had no control over the game and made it about himself. Absolute joke.”
