The Gunners continued to put pressure on Women’s Super League leaders Chelsea as they began 2024 with a comfortable victory over Everton in front of a crowd of 3,713 at Meadow Park. The hosts took the lead in the 9th minute thanks to Caitlin Foord, but just 15 minutes later Katja Snoeijs made it 1-1. Beth Mead put the Gunners back ahead just before the break to secure all three points.
The result leaves second-placed Arsenal level on points with the leaders Chelsea having played one game more, while Everton are eighth in the table.
