Arsenal are through to the last 16 of the Europa League after a comfortable 3-0 win over BATE Borisov.

The Gunners were 1-0 down to the Belarusian’s after a shock defeat in the first-leg.

However, they quickly got on to level terms when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s cross was turned in by Bate defender Zakhar Volkov inside four minutes..

Unai Emery drafted in Mesut Ozil for his second start in a month. The German’s presence was felt as he completed 90 minutes for just the seventh time this season.

Centre-back Shkodran Mustafi made it 2-0 before the break with a powerful header following Granit Xhaka’s corner.

And substitute Sokratis Papastathopoulos headed in the third goal after an hour.

London Chelsea are also through after winning both legs in their tie with Malmo.
