Arsenal are through to the last 16 of the Europa League after a comfortable 3-0 win over BATE Borisov.

The Gunners were 1-0 down to the Belarusian’s after a shock defeat in the first-leg.

However, they quickly got on to level terms when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s cross was turned in by Bate defender Zakhar Volkov inside four minutes..

Unai Emery drafted in Mesut Ozil for his second start in a month. The German’s presence was felt as he completed 90 minutes for just the seventh time this season.

Centre-back Shkodran Mustafi made it 2-0 before the break with a powerful header following Granit Xhaka’s corner.

And substitute Sokratis Papastathopoulos headed in the third goal after an hour.
