Arsenal are through to the quarter-finals of the Europa League after a 3-0 win over Rennes.

The Gunners overturned a 3-1 deficit to book their place in the last eight.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang grabbed the opener and settled Gooner nerves just five minutes into the match. The Gabon striker turning in Aaron Ramsey’s cut-back.

Auba then turned provider – despite appearing to be offisde – with his cross teeing up Ainsley Maitland-Niles to head in for his first goal in front of the Emirates Stadium crowd.

Rennes threatened to put themselves back in front in the tie, but could not find the back of the net for their travelling fans.

Aubameyang wrapped up the tie, turning in Sead Kolasinac’s drilled cross for his second. The striker celebrated by draping the iconic Black Panther mask, but it was a day he was more profligate than lethal in the box.

Arsenal could draw Chelsea, Napoli, Slavia Prague, Frankfurt, Valencia, Benfica or Villarreal in the next round.
