Arsenal came from a goal down to beat Valencia 3-1 and put themselves in a commanding position to reach the Europa League final.

A brace from Alexandre Lacazette and a late strike from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will see Unai Emery’s side head to the Mestalla next week with the advantage.

After three defeats on the spin, it looked as if the Gunners had failed to shake off their poor form when Mouctar Diakhaby opened the scoring for the Spanish outfit with 11 minutes on the clock.

However, Arsenal bounced back just seven minutes later. Lacazette tucking home off the back of an assist from partner in crime Aubameyang.

The Frenchman netted again, nodding in Granit Xhaka’s cross seven minutes later to make it 2-1 before half-time.

Arsenal had their chances in the second period to effectively put the tie to bed at half-time. Missed opportunities from Lacazette in particular meant Gooners were fearing a tricky trip to the east coast of Spain. But Aubameyang’s last minute volley ensured Arsenal now take a two-goal lead.

Will we go through, Gooners? Let us know in the comments…
