Arsenal were rampant as they booked their place into the fourth round of the League Cup after thumping Notting Forest 5-0.

The returning Rob Holding captained the North Londoners on his return to the side after 10 months out through injury..

Hector Bellerin also made his return from a long-term knee injury, whilst Kieran Tierney was dangerous throughout his debut at The Emirates

Rob Holding celebrates scoring the second goal with team mates

Gabriel Martinelli marked his full debut for Arsenal by scoring twice – the first a near post diving header and the second a long range belter late on.

Holding headed home from a corner and Joe Willock and Reiss Nelson also got in on the act.

It capped off a pleasing night for Emery who has seen his side win back-to-back games after a disappointing draw at Watford.

In other news, Tottenham were dumped out of the tournament after being beaten at home to League 2 outfit Colchester United.

In to the next round, COYG!
