Arsenal ace Eddie Nketiah staked his name for further first-team appearances after bagging a hat-trick in a 4-0 win for Arsenal’s under-23’s against Everton.
The Englishman scored two goals on his full debut back in October. Nketiah came on as second half substitute to fire Arsenal into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup at Norwich’s expense.
And the youngster impressed again this week alongside fellow Gunners academy prospect Reiss Nelson.
Nketiah showed Gooners just why he’s so highly-rated by Arsene Wenger with some smart finishing.
He grabbed his first form close range following some good work from Nelson.
His second was a powerful finish into the bottom corner after an inch-perfect through ball from Joe Willock – and the hat-trick was complete not long after, as he swept in a low cross at the near post to cap a fine performance.
Gooners, how far can Eddie go at Arsenal? Let us know in the comments…
