Arsenal ace Hector Bellerin has admitted being linked with a return to Barcelona is flattering but remains focused on his career in North London, he told Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo.

The Spanish U21 international has excelled at the Emirates Stadium since breaking into the first-team in 2014 and his performances have attracted a wealth of interest, including that of former side Barcelona and Premier League rivals Manchester City.

With the Gunners poor form and the fact they could miss out on Champions League football next season, rumours of an exit for Bellerin have risen. However, when asked about the links, he said:

“Any player is flattered by the interest of Barça, it is the best club in the world and that’s very nice, the fact that I grew up in the Barca quarry also gives him that extra bit of specialty, although for now I’m focused on matches and in the season, the other will come later. ”

“I know that there has been interest from Manchester City, it is a compliment that a coach like Guardiola thinks of me, that is a sign that things are going well for me “

Bellerin also suggested his future could be impacted by the decision Arsene Wenger makes, as he added:

“Loyalty to that person is worth more than money, it is very important for me that he is there. For me, that weighs very much.”
