Arsenal are keen on bringing Birmingham City’s Che Adams to the Emirates, according to The Mirror.

The Championship striker has been in scintillating form for the West Midlands side so far this season. Adams has netted 19 league goals in 32 matches – he sits fourth in the league’s top goal scorers chart.

Garry Monk’s talisman has become hot property and is suggested to be attracting the likes of Southampton and Manchester United.

The Saints attempted to sign the striker from Birmingham in the January transfer window but saw their efforts rebuffed, with the Blues standing firm in their position that he would not leave midway through the season.

With Birmingham unlikely to secure promotion this season, they will find it hard to hold on to the Englishman at the end of the season.

Representatives from Watford, United and Arsenal, along with Scottish champions Celtic, watched on as Adams drew a rare blank in Birmingham’s clash with Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday. The 22-year-old failed to score for the first time in seven league games.
