Arsene Wenger and Antonio Conte coudl go head to head this summer for the signature of Brazilian forward Bernard.
The Brazil international has reportedly informed Shakhtar Donetsk that he will not sign a new contract with the club, meaning he will depart the Ukraine on a free transfer this summer.
Bernard has previously been linked with a move to the Emirates, though no official bid materialised.
Now Goal.com Brazil claim the gifted 25-year-old winger is ready to ready for a new challenge in his career.
With his current deal set to expire in the summer, the diminutive wide-man will therefore be available as a free agent.
The cost attraction could see Arsenal prefer the Brazilian over Thomas Lemar, who still continues to be linked with a summer switch to the Premier League. Arsenal were rebuffed in their £92m offer for Lemar last summer.
