According to reports, Arsenal have ‘made an enquiry’ over the availability of AC Milan star Franck Kessie.
The midfielder has long been linked with a move to the Premier League and Corriere Dello Sport clam interest has spiked between both Arsenal and West Ham.
Kessie, who is a steely, dynamic, midfielder with an engine could just be the ingredients that Arsenal are missing.
The Italian giants are prepared to sell for around £21.2million.
Primarily a defensive-mid, Kessie flourishes when given the licence to roam and support the attack.
This added interest from East London could interfere with Arsenal’s potential signing.
It is not clear whether the Ivorian, 23, is viewed as a like-for-like replacement for Granit Xhaka or Lucas Torreira, who have both been linked with moves away.
Last month there were reports Xhaka had agreed personal terms with Herth Berlin, while Torreira is suggested to be unsettled in England.
