According to reports, Arsenal are finalising deals for Lucas Torreira, Bernd Leno and Sokratis Papastathopoulos.

The trio are expected to cost the Gunners £50m, which has been reported as their summer’s transfer budget.

Arsenal are closing in on the £26m signing of Sampdoria midfielder Torreira and they have approached Bayer Leverkusen over a £20m deal for German goalkeeper Leno.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund’s Sokratis Papastathapolous is expected to join for £16m in the coming days.

New head coach Unai Emery has already assigned Stehpan Lichsteiner to his squad. Meanwhile Marouane Fellaini has also been tipped to make a switch to the Emirates Stadium.

The influx of players means Emery will surely have to show some of his current squad members the exit. Jack Wilshere’s contract situation is still yet to be finalised, while Shkodran Mustafi and Calum Chambers’ futures remain unclear.

Gooners, should we wrap up the deals, do you expect Arsenal to compete for honours next season? Let us know in the comments…
