Arsenal complete signing of Barcelona midfielder

Arsenal and Barcelona have had a pretty regular relationship when it comes to transfers over the last decade or so.

Usually it is based around Arsene Wenger pinching a promising young talent from their famed La Masia – Hector Bellerin, Jon Toral and you know who – academy whilst the Catalan giants regularly sign our most influential players – off the top of my head: Cesc Fabregas, Alex Song, Thierry Henry and Aleksandr Hleb (okay, maybe it isn’t always the influential ones they sign).

The latest deal involving our Spanish friends is one that benefits the Gunners, with Vicky Losada joining Arsenal Ladies.

It is something of a major coup for Arsenal Ladies gaffer Pedro Marine Losa with the Spanish international captaining the Spanish giants – they’ve bagged three Superliga titles and three Spanish Cups under her guidance.

Vicky will meet up with her team-mates in March at the beginning of pre-season training.
