Arsenal’s busy few weeks could see major movement involving the North London giants, as the Gunners battle to keep hold of their star-men and seek further additions.

Arsene Wenger will have certainly been put on-alert but the reported availability of a long-term target, as reports cited by The Sun state that Paris Saint-Germain are willing to offload Julian Draxler following the world-record capture of Neymar.

The 23-year-old German international has regularly been linked with Arsenal in recent years but it seemed a move was off the cards when he moved to the French capital, though the dramatic change in situation now may work in Arsenal’s favour.

Whilst other outlets have been quick to suggest Draxler’s signature isn’t available, the initial reports are likely to lead to a wealth of interest in the German ace and Arsenal may find themselves embroiled in a transfer battle for the former Wolfsburg and Schalke man.

The Sun states Arsenal could get Draxler’s services for around £32m and he may be seen as a direct replacement for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who continues to be linked with a transfer away from the Emirates Stadium and has entered the final 12 months of his deal.
