Arsenal are reportedly eyeing a move for Wolves centre-back Conor Coady.

The 25-year-old is set to be offered a new contract at Molineux after an impressive first half of the season, and according to the Daily Mail, the Gunners have been paying “particularly close attention” to the defender who looks to be on the verge of breaking into the England squad.

Coady has played all 22 Premier League fixtures so far as his side look to consolidate what looks to be Premier League survival.

Unai Emery recently admitted that there are no transfer funds this window for a permanent deal. However, the Gunners are looking into making him an offer in time for a summer switch.

It’s expected to be a tough ask for the north Londoners to land his signature. Not only are Wolves preparing to offer the Englishman a bumper new deal, but the Mail claim Coady’s boyhood club Liverpool are also keen on the enforcer.
