This season is a special one for Arsenal, whatever happens in terms of silverware, being that it is Wenger’s 20th at the club.

However, silverware is still imperative in order to turn it from a special season into an iconic one. There are quiet, but no less serious, whispers of a title challenge murmuring around The Emirates already.

Already this season’s squad look more experienced, mature and composed no matter what the consequences and the 3-2 win over Ludogorets, having been 2-0 down, was proof of that.

Despite dropping points in the North London derby, we remain more than in contention at the top, just two points adrift of leader Liverpool, however there is a long way to go, and reinforcements will be needed.

Considering we’ve made it through to the knockouts in the Champions League once again, we’re still in the EFL Cup, hunting for a title and also have the FA Cup to consider in the New Year, money will have to be spent in order to keep the squad fresh and competitive.
