Arsenal eye £80million Wilshere replacement

According to the Metro, Guardian, and Mirror, Arsene Wenger is preparing the club books for a record transfer fee of £80million for French international Paul Pogba. Once a teenage outcast at Manchester United, Paul Pogba found himself shining in reserve matches, but riding the pine for Sir Alex Ferguson’s starting XI. Only appearing in three matches with the first-team at Manchester United, Pogba was sold to Juventus in 2012, one of the only blemishes in Ferguson’s career.

Since his arrival at Juventus, Paul Pogba has been groomed into an elite midfielder with the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal, and Claudio Marchisio – arguably the best midfield in Europe.
