Arsenal have set their sights on signing Bayer Leverkuzen Bernd Leno this summer.

Reports in Germany claim Italian giants Napoli are also interested in the 26 year-old who has kept 7 clean sheets in 25 Bundesliga matches this term.

Leno is under contract at Leverkusen until the end of the 2019/2020 season but his current deal has a release clause of £22m.

The suggestions are Arsenal are yet to make an official approach, though the German is said to have an open mind about moving abroad this summer.

Both of the Gunners current shot-stoppers Petr Cech and David Ospina have had spells in the side this season, but both have struggled for consistency.

Cech most recently issued an apology to Arsenal fans following his two mistakes which allowed Brighton to pull off a shock victory over Arsenal last weekend.

Gooners, would you sell both ‘keeepers? Or are they still up to the task? Let us know in the comments…
