Joe Willock impressed for Arsenal once again as Unai Emery’s side continued their perfect start in the Europa League with a 4-0 thrashing of Standard Liege.
Willock scored with an accomplished finish and fans were pleased with his all-round display.
Still in his development, the 20 year-old has started just three Premier League games so far as he competes for places against Granit Xhaka, Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira.
There were other notable standout performances from new boy Kieran Tierney who wasMean involved in three of Arsenal’s goals.
Gabrielle Martinelli netted twice in two minutes to stake his claim for Premier League match time.
Meanwhile, on return from their long injury layoffs, both Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin completed the 90 minutes.
However, after three goals within a fortnight, Arsenal fans all seem to be saying the same thing about their academy graduate Joe Willock – he must start against Bournemouth on Sunday…

I’m hoping Willock was subbed off early so he can start against Bournemouth but I know that’s probably not the case.

Not sure Emery is bold enough to make more than 3 changes for Bournemouth. Tierney, Holding, Willock need to start imo

Deserved standing ovation for Willock, really hope he gets the starting XI nod for Bournemouth on the weekend.
