Earlier this week we reported thatTony Cascarino believes Arsenal should be considering lining up a move for James Maddison as a replacement for the departing Aaron Ramsey.
Maddison is enjoying a successful campaign at Leicester City having chipped in with seven goals so far this season.
With funds tight at The Emirates, and with Ramsey set to leave for free, finding a replacement who is both affordable and of the requisite quality could be easier said than done.
A £20 million signing from Norwich last summer, Maddison has shone in the top flight and scored his seventh Premier League goal with a trademark free-kick against Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
And it seems like Gooners are in agreement with Cascarino and would like to see Maddison arrive at the Emirates this summer.
Very good player. My brother is a Norwich fan so I saw him quite a bit last year. Seems to be improving all the time.

Maddison is really good and can only get better with us

James Maddison is so good. I’d love him at Arsenal but he would be so expensive.

The only guy we're taking, Maddison. Heir to Mesut's throne, mad baller

Barella and Rabiot don’t score goals. Doucoure is a good shout but Maddison would be a perfect replacement for Ramsey as we need goals from midfield
