Arsenal fans have been laughing at Liverpool’s form since Oxlade-Chamberlain’s switch to the club and Gooners had more to cackle over following the Reds’ 1-1 draw with Newcastle.
After the 4-0 victory over Arsenal at the end of August, which just so happened to be Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s last game for the club, the Reds appeared to be genuine title contenders.
However, their form has taken a turn for the worst following the £40m man’s move.
Liverpool were battered 5-0 at Manchester City, drew 2-2 with Sevilla and 1-1 with Burnley. Klopp’s men then lost 2-0 to Leicester City, before beating them 3-2 in the Premier League.
This weekend saw the Reds come up short again as they drew 1-1 with Newcastle.
Oxlade-Chamberlain’s late cameos have been poor. He headed over the bar from 8 yards out against the Magpies and Liverpool fans are now questioning whether their club should have signed the England international. Klopp was pictured with his head in his hands while Arsenal fans have had a few laughs.
