Arsenal fans have paid tribute to Olivier Giroud following the striker’s move to Chelsea.
Giroud has signed an 18 months contract, with a view to a year’s extension.
The France international, 31, leaves Arsenal for £18m having scored 105 goals in 253 games since signing from Montpellier for a reported £12m in June 2012.
The striker occasionally came under heavy criticism from Arsenal fans for his mishaps in front of goal, but no one could ever fault the commitment and determination Giroud gave the club.
He fell down the pecking order at the Emirates this season following the arrival of club-record signing Alexandre Lacazette.
His France international teammate has scored just two more goals this season, despite Giroud starting 15 fewer games.
The striker will be missed at the Emirates. Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to pay tribute to a star that many consider to be the best plan B in the world.

Thank you for five and a half years Olivier Giroud. Much maligned, but another one who genuinely felt privileged wearing our colours. Can only wish him INDIVIDUAL success in his new home.
