Arsenal are far from pleased with their opening matches to the Premier League 2019/20 campaign.

A year on from playing Manchester City and Chelsea in their opening two games, the fixture generator has not been kind to them once more.

Unai Emery’s men will travel to Newcastle first before hosting Burnley – not terrible – but then it gets really tough.

Arsenal then go to Anfield on the third weekend of the season, where Liverpool were unbeaten throughout 2018/19, before welcoming north London rivals Tottenham to the Emirates on the following weekend.

Then after Watford away and Aston Villa at home, the Gunners travel to Old Trafford for a showdown with Manchester United in what could be an early top four six-pointer.

As aforementioned though, Emery’s side will travel to Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle on the opening.

Gooners have been having their say on the Tyneside curtain raiser…
