Jose Mourinho has been appointed manager of Tottenham Hotspur.
The three-time Premier League winner has replaced Mauricio Pochettino at White Hart Lane following a struggling start to the season for Sp*rs.
The Argentine failed to win a trophy in his five years in charge of the north London club with Spurs’ last silverware being the League Cup in 2008.
Arsenal’s neighbours are currently enduring an even more dismal start to the league than Emery’s side, with Sp*rs a lowly 14th after 12 games.
The appointment of Mourinho has put an end speculation that the ex-Manchester United boss could replace Unai Emery at The Emirates.
Mourinho, 56, has signed a contract until the end of the 2022-23 season. He’s been out of work since being sacked by Manchester United in December 2018.
Gooners are still calling for a new manager, but it’s fair to say they are indifferent about Mourinho joining Tottenham…

Top marks for Raul and Edu for not sacking Emery and not letting Mourinho into our club. My faith in them is restored

Mourinho going to Spurs means that some of you can stop talking about him coming to Arsenal, I might want change but I don’t want him, and neither should you.

I would have taken Mourinho at Arsenal. I would take Pochettino. I would take Arteta. I would take Luis Enrique. I would take Benitez. I would take ANYBODY, so long as we can get #EmeryOut of Emirates.
