Kieran Tierney may not get his dream move to Arsenal this summer.
The Gunners have so far failed to match Celtic’s £25m asking price for the defender.
Now, The Telegraph say Unai Emery’s side have anxiously started to consider other alternatives after hitting a brick wall in negotiations for Tierney.
The Celtic full-back is said to be keen on a move to The Emirates and remains Emery’s No 1 target. However, talks with Celtic over Scotsman have now been dragging on for nearly two months and the clubs appear little closer into agreeing a fee.
So far, Arsenal have made two official bids for the left-back, which fall under Celtic’s valuation. The SPL championsc have made it clear that they will not sell unless the full £25m fee is guaranteed.
Arsenal have effectively wrapped up a £27million deal for St.Etienne centre-half William Saliba, who will undergo a medical on Tuesday.
