Arsenal legend Ray Parlour has revealed a few players he thinks the club should sign next month. Parlour participated in a Q&A about his former club and spoke open and candidly about who he thinks Wenger should bring in.

His looks looked a lot like mine, (and I never think I would ever come close to being mentioned in the same breath at Parlour) as well as many other gooners presumably. Parlour highlighted two players in particular whom he believed would take Arsenal to the next level.

“Winston Reid has been mentioned, but I’m not sure he’s the quality we need.”

“Mats Hummels would be great, a world cup winner and a good player.

“For midfield, I would go for [Morgan] Schneiderlin if you can get him. He’s at a good age.”

“Lots of players are linked. [Sami] Khedira would have been great. Players that have played in big games won’t be phased by anything. Schneiderlin hasn’t, but I can see him improving.”

Parlour is spot on, and we can only hope Wenger takes heed to these statements. If anyone know a good player when he sees one, Parlour would have to be at the top of the list. To bad Parlour is not 15 years younger as we could sure use him in the side once again!
