The Arsenal board are working hard on finding a permanent replacement for Unai Emery.
Reliable Gunners news reporter David Ornstein has provided an update on the latest in the search for a new manager at The Emirates.
At the moment Freddie Ljungberg has been permitted to chance him arm for the role, taking over as interim head coach.
The Swede had only two days to instil a new philosophy into the squad before the Gunners were held to a 2-2 draw with relegation threatened Norwich City.
Ljungberg is said to ‘stand a chance’.
Ornstein adds, though, that he predicts an ‘external candidate’ will be brought in, amid links with the likes of Mauricio Pochettino, Massimiliano Allegri and Brendan Rodgers.
The Gunners guru adds that the club will look to find a replacement ‘sooner, rather than later’:
Gooners, who do you think should be Arsenal next permanent head coach? Let us know in the comments…
