This season has been a world away from the expected start for Arsenal in the Premier League, with them losing their first three games.

They are nowhere near challenging for the title and those looking to use their bet365 promotional code might be tempted by some surprisingly short odds for them to go down this year, which would be nothing short of a disaster.

The Gunners had hoped for a better start at this point in the season, with their opening game against Brentford setting a real precedent for the club’s position right now.

Not only has the club lost their first three games but they have also failed to score a goal, with them conceding nine along the way. It certainly shows the stage that the club are in right now and brings plenty of questions over Mikel Arteta and his squad.

Despite paying over £57million for the striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been absent for the start of this season, missing the first game through illness and failing to make an impact against Chelsea and Manchester City following that.

Aubameyang’s form for the Gunners has dipped massively over the last few seasons despite an incredible start to life at the Emirates. His first two full seasons in the Premier League saw him produce 22 goals back-to-back.

Last season saw a huge drop in form, with him only managing 10 goals from 29 games in the Premier League – a tally far away from a £57million striker.

It has since been reported that the club are looking for a replacement for the now 32-year-old forward, and reports from Spain have suggested they may have finally identified their man.

According to news outlet La Colina de Nervion, Arsenal are targeting Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri.

The Moroccan has been in fine form for the La Liga club, with him scoring 18 goals in the league last season as well as 6 goals in the Champions League – a fine record in two challenging competitions.

At just 24-years-old, En-Nesyri is the perfect addition to the squad for what the club need and the longevity that he could provide upfront for the years to come.

Of course, a potential move likely wouldn’t materialise until next summer with the club’s rebuild still in action.

However, if the current form continues in the league and the Gunners are still struggling to score goals then there is no reason why Edu and Arteta wouldn’t make a move for him in the winter window, in a worst case scenario.
