Arsenal have been in Dubai for some warm-weather training as they prepare for Newcastle when they return from their winter break.

The Gunners had a four day training camp in the Gulf state before heading back to the UK on Wednesday.

They face Newcastle at the Emirates on Sunday.

Before Mikel Arteta’s arrival, Ljungberg had been in charge as caretaker boss for six matches following the dismissal of Unai Emery.

The Gunners only won one under the Swede’s stewardship before he stepped down to become part of Arteta’s coaching staff.
