Arsenal have been in Dubai for some warm-weather training as they prepare for Newcastle when they return from their winter break.
The Gunners had a four day training camp in the Gulf state before heading back to the UK on Wednesday.
They face Newcastle at the Emirates on Sunday.
Before Mikel Arteta’s arrival, Ljungberg had been in charge as caretaker boss for six matches following the dismissal of Unai Emery.
The Gunners only won one under the Swede’s stewardship before he stepped down to become part of Arteta’s coaching staff.
Freddie’s been in Dubai this week with the Arsenal sqaud. And the ‘Invincible’ posted to fans a glimpse of the break he and the players have enjoyed.
Ljungberg tweeted: “Great camp in Dubai, nice to be in the sunshine for a few days.”
