Arsenal are set to face uncomfortable competition from PSG and Bayern Munich for the signature of Real Madrid’s Lucas Vasquez.
The midfielder has recently emerged as a hot target for Unai Emery’s side who have so far failed to bring Wilfried Zaha to The Emirates.
Vasquez appears to be the alternative for Emery who is strapped for cash this summer.
The Gunners failed to qualify for the Champions League so have less money to spend.
One player who Vasquez could replace is Henrikh Mkhitaryan – rumours continue that the Armenian could leave.
According to reports in The Sun, Real Madrid are said to be in talks with the Gunners over the transfer of the Spain winger.
The 31m-rated Spaniard is not only wanted by the Ligue 1 and Bundesliga champions, but Inter Milan are also thought to be interested in his services.
Vasquez, 28, made 47 appearances for Real last season.
