According to reports, Arsenal are in pole position to sign Erling Braut Haaland after the Norweigan striker reportedly visited Arsenal’s training ground amid widespread speculation over his future.

Haaland, son of former Leeds star Alf-Inge, has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League after showing sensational form for Red Bull Salzburg this season.

In 18 appearances for the Austrian outfit, he has scored an impressive 26 goals and has therefore been attracting attention from the likes of Manchester United and Bayern Munich.

The Red Devils are  suggested to be plotting a move for the 19 year-old.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is determined to bolster his attack following the departures of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez.

But Sport Bild (via Mirror) claim Arsenal also have a significant level of interest.

They say that Haaland and his father have even recently visited the London club’s training ground to check out the facilities.
