Arsenal face a testing summer ahead to strengthen their squad and keep hold of key-players at the club, although it appears the Gunners are preparing to lose one battle.

The Daily StarĀ reports Arsenal look set to accept defeat in their battle to keep Alexis Sanchez at the Emirates Stadium and will instead look to utilise the Chilean in a stunning deal, bringing Sergio Aguero in from Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola’s Citizens are heavily linked to Alexis’ signature this summer and the Chilean is yet to provide a definitive answer as to whether he’ll stay at Arsenal, with the Gunners reportedly offering a club-record contract to the South American.

There’s a growing fear that Alexis could leave though and Guardiola’s side, along with Bayern Munich, seem to be the favourites for his signature- and Arsenal could lessen the blow of losing Alexis by bringing in Aguero in return.

Argentine striker Sergio Aguero scored 33 goals across all competitions for Manchester City last season but has failed to convince Guardiola of his ability fully, with Brazilian starlet Gabriel Jesus looking likely to be the main man next season.

Should Aguero leave, it’s understood his preference would be the remain in the Premier League and a swap deal for a big name that City are chasing seems to be the only scenario where the Citizens would approve a deal with a direct rival.

However, it would still be a major surprise if a deal like this went ahead and it seems highly unlikely that a swap-deal for these superstars would go ahead, you’d have better luck checking out your casino bonus online.
