Arsenal have reportedly submitted an offer for PSG striker Edinson Cavani.
The Uruguayan is hot on Manchester United’s radar after failing to resign a new deal. Ole Gunnar Solskjaar’s side have been struggling for goals this season following the sale of Romelu Lukaku.
Cavani has entered the final six month of his contract with PSG and looks set to walk away from the Parc des Princes this summer.
PSG have no intention of selling the 32 year-old early and the Ligue 1 champions are expected to keep hold of the Cavani until the very end.
The turn of the year means the striker can sign a pre-contractual agreement with a foreign club.
With the futures of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang uncertain, after seven years in France Cavani could be in line to replace either, or both.
He currently boasts 136 goals in 194 Ligue 1 games for PSG.
