Arsenal look certain to land Steven N’Zonzi this summer, according to several sources.

The Gunners have made quick work of attending to their defensive structure this summer and N’zonzi could be the final cog in Unai Emery’s new side.

The France international, who helped his nation lift the World Cup this summer, worked under new Gunners manager Emery at Sevilla.

And the bookmakers certainly think recent rumours over a move for Sevilla star N’Zonzi are true.

Arsenal are clear favourites to sign the Frenchman this summer, with Betstars pricing them up at just 8/11.

The La Liga giants are reportedly only willing to let the towering 29-year-old midfielder leave if his £35m buy-out clause is triggered.

And according to Sky Sports’ pundit Dean Ashton, N’Zonzi is the perfect man to improve Arsenal’s midfield.

“He is the exact type of player that Arsenal need,” said the former West Ham striker.

“That holding midfield player that not only has got strength and power in his physique, he’s very good defensively in spotting danger.

“But also he’s great on the ball and he can offer something going forward in terms of threading passes through to the likes of (Mesut) Ozil.
