Jack Wilshere impressed once again as Arsenal made it three wins out of three in the Europa League.

Olivier Giroud’s stunning late strike has taken the headlines, but it was Jack Wilshere injection of impetus that provided the means for his teammate to find the net.

Wilshere beat three Red Star players in one swift move to begin an attack on the opposition defence. His enthusiasm and bravery in the final third has increased the calls from Arsenal fans to see him figure in Arsene Wenger’s Premier League side.

The Englishman is into the final year of his current deal at the Emirates, and though he’s expressed a desire to stay, there have been no signs that Arsenal are readying him a new deal.

West Ham are a club consistently linked with the midfielder who he supported as a boy. If Wilshere continues his superb form, but remains on the fringes at Arsenal, the East Londoners are certainties to snap him up.

So far Wilshere, who burst on the scene in 2008 has had a career hampered by injury. The 25 year-old appeared to have shaken off his injury woes after being shipped out on-loan at Bournemouth last season before fracturing his leg in April.

The England international is now playing his best football and Arsenal must not hesitate to keep their prodigy at the club.
