Arsenal target Steven N’zonzi has hinted at an exit this summer.

The Sevilla midfielder and longtime Gunners link has revealed he could leave La Liga this summer in order to continue his career progression.

N’zonzi is presently on international duty with France as he looks forward to participating in his first major international tournament.

The ex-Stoke City man appeared to be on his way out of Sevilla in January following a bust up with former boss Eduardo Berizzo.

As reported by Squawka, the 29 year-old said: “I am feeling very good at Seville but they are not the biggest club in Europe,” he told reporters at a World Cup press conference.

“Playing with high profile players in a big team could be a good progression for me. We all know that the transfer window is open but we don’t talk about it that much.

“There is a big tournament coming up and changing teams is not the main worry in the group.”

Arsenal are in the midst of a summer of change with Unai Emery now in charge of first-team affairs following Arsene Wenger’s departure.

Granit Xhaka signed a new deal with the club this week which left some fans questioning whether the club will go out and buy a defensive midfielder.
