Mesut Ozil has been cast out by Unai Emery.
Arsenal are in talks with Fenerbahce over a loan move for Mesut Ozil, according to reports.
The German is currently taking home a staggering £350,000-per-week, but manager Unai Emery has so far refused to play him.
Ozil has made just one Premier League start this season. Emery recently claimed the 31 year-old playmaker did not ‘deserve’ a place in his squad, with the manager preferring the likes of loan signing Dani Ceballos and youngster Joe Willock.
The Mirror claim Emery is ready to cut his losses with the attacker. Emery has been left wholly unimpressed with Ozil’s attitude in training.
And it appears the 30-year-old has been offered a lifeline by his former club Fenerbahce, who want to take him on loan in the new year.
It appears there’s no way back for Ozil, who still has another two years to run on his current deal.
