Arsenal are one of three Premier League sides interested in signing Fenerbahce young star Oguz Kaan Guctekin.

Turkish Football are reporting that Manchester City and Tottenham are both keen on the 18 year-old. Fenerbahce club president Aziz Yildirim confirmed that he has turned down a €5 million offer from Pep Guardiola’s side.

“We had a €5m offer for Oguz Kaan from Manchester City in the summer. He’s a product of our academy. We didn’t sell,” Yildirim said.

The midfielder made his professional debut on Sunday when he came on as an 86th minute substitute during Fenerbahce’s 4-1 thrashing over Sivasspor.

Arsenal have made a habit of buying and developing young talent under Arsene Wenger and signing Guctekin would come as no surprise to Gooners.

However, many are more concerned over the anticipated departures at the club. Both Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil could leave in January and there’s no debate that the Gunners will need proven reinforcements.
