Arsenal are facing the prospect of playing eight games within the space of a month following an instense rearrangements of fixtures.

The Gunners are through to the last eight of the Europa League. The quarter-final tie with Napoli has added an extra two to their April list, while Wolves’ FA Cup involvement meant last weekend’s scheduled clash has now been moved to April 24.

This is all in the midst of a crucial top four chase which will see Unai Emery’s side face Newcastle at home, travel to Everton, before ties with Watford and Crystal Palace at the Emirates, and finally wrapping up the month with away trips to Wolves and Leicester.

Making matters worse, should Arsenal progress past Napoli, they would then face a Europa League semi-final just three days later.

With Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham all vying for a place in the top four and in European competition, it promises to be a tough test for all of the big guns.
