According to reports, Arsenal are prepared to cash in on David Ospina to loan side Napoli.

The Colombian does not appear to be part of Unai Emer’s plans following the £22m arrival of Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen this past summer.

Ospina was sent to Napoli until the end of the campaign and has impressed boss Carlo Ancelotti during his first 10 appearances for the club.

The Sun claim Arsenal are ready to sell the Colombia international to Napoli for a cut-price fee of just £3.5m during the January transfer window.

And the move would likely be well received by Ospina who has struggled to nail down his place at the Emirates.

The 30 year-old has appeared just 29 times in the Premier League since moving from Nice in 2014.

He has earned over 90 caps for his nation and has appeared at three Copa Américas and two World Cups.
