Arsenal resume interest in Juventus enforcer – could move in for star in January

According to reports, Arsenal have turned their attention to signing Daniele Rugani.

The Juventus centre-half has been linked with a move to The Emirates for some time as he continues to struggle to nail down a starting spot in Turin.

The 25-year-old has fallen out of favour under ex-Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri, making just one Serie A appearance so far this season.

Rugani has been linked with a switch to the Premier League move for a number of years now and may finally end up plying his trade in England’s top flight.

The interest comes at a time when Arsenal’s defensive frailties continue to worsen.

The north Londoners have already conceded 21 goals in the Premier League after 14 games played – the most in the top 12.
