Arsenal have sent scouts out for the second time in a month to make another check on AC Milan star Suso.

The 25 year-old is firmly on the Gunners’ radar and an Arsenal scout took a closer look at him during Milan’s victory over Chievo at the weekend, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Around four weeks ago, Italian source Tuttomercatoweb also reported that the Gunners had watched the classy Spaniard play for Milan against Cagliari.

Suso could be seen as an alternative to Denis Suarez who is yet to make his mark at the Emirates Stadium.

Denis Suarez is yet to find his feet in North London

Suarez has made four Premier League and two Europa League appearances, but is yet to provide a goal or assist, while Unai Emery remains concerned over his fitness.

Arsenal have the option to sign Suarez on a permanent deal this summer after taking him on an initial loan from Barcelona.

Suso would surely be a big upgrade if he could continue to improve at this rate. The Spaniard has five goals and eight assists for Milan so far this season.
