Arsenal are hopeful of bringing Arsene Wenger back to the Emirates in a bid to boost moral around the Emirates.

The club’s most successful manager’s departure in 2018 divided Arsenal fans.

Wenger had been keeping himself busy in the public eye as a pundit up until accepting a role at Fifa last year.

The Frenchman has said publicly he would be reluctant to work at Arsenal again, but the club’s board think Wenger’s return would serve as a boost to the fans and increase the support for Arteta.

There have been calls for a statue to be erected outside the Emirates, alongside club legends Thierry Henry, Tony Adams, Dennis Bergkamp and Tony Adams.
