With Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil set to quit the club, Arsenal fans are all wondering who will replace the duo.

And while the Gunners have been linked with a January swoop for several players, few have excited Gooners enough to view them as worthy replacements.

Perhaps because signing another Ozil and another Sanchez isn’t possible. And perhaps the Gunners need to sign someone of similar stature, but a completely different style.

One player who is growing frustrated with his lack of opportunities and could be available for a move is Anthony Martial.

The forward is currently down the pecking order at Old Trafford, having started just three Premier League games this term.

Martial celebrates scoring with Romelu Lukaku against Tottenham

Despite his limited game time, Martial has excelled for the Red Devils, scoring six and assisting four in all competitions.

The Frenchman has aired his frustrations at being wasted, while Thierry Henry has also given him the hurry up to move to the Emirates.

Martial doesn’t have the pin-point passing accuracy of Ozil, nor does he have the tenacity of Alexis Sanchez, but he has an abundance of pace, the quality to dribble passed his man, and this season has proven to be lethal in front of goal.

The Gunners could pair up the ex-Monaco star with club-record signing Lacazette, or deploy Martial from wide. He’s proficient in both areas of the field.
