Turkish giants Fenerbache are ready to hand Mesut Ozil a way out of Arsenal as there seems to be little interest in his services, The Telegraph reports.
Like Alexis Sanchez, Ozil has just over a year remaining on his current deal and no progress towards an extension seems to have been made. However, interest in Ozil’s services are low, unlike Alexis who has a wealth of potential suitors.
Fenerbache are interested in bringing the 28-year-0ld, who has Turkish parents, to Istanbul and the German World Cup winner’s private life could aid their chances of a deal- as rumours suggest he will marry former Miss Turkey Amine Gulse and buy a house in the Turkish city.
Former Arsenal man Robin Van Persie is expected to leave Fenerbache in the summer, which will make wages available to land Ozil, but they would likely have to pay in excess of £30m to bring the former Real Madrid man to the club.
Meanwhile, Ozil’s agents are exploring potential interest in China as they don’t currently have a strong bargaining position, whereas Alexis Sanchez does.
