Arsenal can take pride in their young guns, most of which are impressing greatly and making waves at their respective loan clubs. Chuba Akpom managed to score in both of his first two matches for Hull City, as has Jon Toral, while Issac Hayden is getting plenty of action with the Tigers as well. Yaya Sanogo scored a hat trick in a pre season friendly with Ajax but has yet to get off the mark in the league, while young Ainsley Maitland-Niles registered his first assist for Ipswich yesterday.

Dan Crowley is the latest to send social media in a frenzy after his sensational showings for Barnsley. He played the full 90 minutes in yesterday’s win over Willwall, with fans taking to twitter to share their delight.

And it is not the first good showing Crowley has had with Barnsley. The clip down below is a fantastic Wilshere-esque assist in his first match with the club against Chesterfield two Saturday’s ago. Barnsley went on to lose 3-1, but Crowley’s performance didn’t go unnoticed.

Fair play to Crowley and the rest of the loanees, looking forward to seeing how they get on during the rest of the campaign.

Great play from Crawley, didn’t actually realised he’d gone out on loan – CH will do him good I reckon, be interesting to see how he deals with the physical impact.

Really hope some of those youngsters come through to the first team – Zelalem looks real like a real prospect, too!
